Who’s eligible?

Eligibility requirements for the Level 5 Professional Coaching apprenticeship generally include:

Employment in a Role That Supports Coaching: Apprentices should be in or transitioning into a role where they can apply coaching practices, either in a dedicated coaching role or within a role that involves developing others.

Age Requirement: Apprentices must be at least 16 years old.

Education Requirements: A minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics at grade C/4 or equivalent is preferred. Some programs may look for candidates with Level 3 qualifications or relevant experience in a coaching or developmental role.

Right to Work in the UK: Apprentices must have the right to work in the UK.

Level of Experience: While a dedicated coaching background is not necessary, candidates should have an interest in or some experience with coaching, mentoring, or supporting the development of others.
